How do I use this calculator for a shopping-agent parcel?
Enter the packed parcel's length, width and height and its scale weight from the warehouse, plus the divisor your agent shows for the line. The calculator shows volumetric and chargeable weight; then confirm the live price in your agent's estimate.
Why is my agent's quote different from this calculator?
Agents add line-specific rounding, weight steps, minimums, surcharges and packaging fees. This tool explains the weight math; your agent checkout is the binding quote.
Should I use item weights or the packed parcel?
Use the packed parcel when you have it. Item-level weights ignore the box and padding, which is often why the second bill is higher than expected.
Does this calculator include customs duty?
No. Duties, VAT/GST and broker fees depend on your destination and the parcel's declared contents. See the customs guide and budget a buffer.
