Silver and stone jewelry
Silver and stone jewelry: 925银 (jiǔ-èr-wǔ yín). Jewelry is the category where the gap between the listing photo and the parcel is widest, and where the stone and metal terms decide what you actually receive. These words separate solid silver from plated brass, and lab-grown diamond from cubic zirconia.

Check before it ships
- Ask for the item on a scale. Listed gram weight and actual gram weight diverge more often in jewelry than in any other category.
- Request a close photo of the metal stamp — S925, 足银 or a karat mark should be physically present, not just claimed.
- For any stone sold as lab-grown diamond, ask which laboratory issued the certificate and for a photo of the report number.
- Measure the ring inner diameter in millimetres. Chinese ring sizing (号) does not map onto US or EU sizes directly.
High value for its size. Check the declared-value and compensation limits of the route, and keep the listing, invoice and inspection evidence together.
Use the category checklist, or order an independent inspection for high-value items.
